In 1978, the body of an unidentified, murdered female was discovered in a ditch in Lyon County, Iowa. For decades, the Jane Doe would remain unidentified until she was discovered to be Wilma June Nissen. Years after, her biological daughter would begin a quest to find her mother's killer.
