🍀 Welcome back to A Celtic State of Mind! We are the award-winning ACSOM podcast and fan channel. We bring you daily debate, match previews, post-match reactions, and exclusive interviews from the heart of the Celtic community.
In this episode of A Celtic State of Mind (ACSOM), we dive deep into Celtic's corporate governance and boardroom structure with financial analyst David Low. Following recent discussions by Celtic Supporters Limited (CSL) regarding shareholder rights, we explore the historical context of the Takeover Panel’s 2005 Rule 9 waiver and examine how it shapes the club's financial management today.
David Low, who famously drew up the share-buying strategy for Fergus McCann’s 1994 Celtic takeover, joins the show to question recent board appointments, Celtic’s AIM Rule 26 compliance, and whether the club's conservative management style represents "managed decline" or structural stability.
If you want to understand who controls Celtic FC behind the scenes, how the UK Takeover Code applies to large shareholders, and what happens next at the upcoming Celtic AGM, this is a must-watch breakdown.
