Daniel records his friend Rudy interviewing with Stanford Law Professor Joan Petersilia. Daniel and Rudy spent 3 days in the California Bay area attending the Uncommon Heroes awards ceremony where freedom fighter Elizabeth Calvin was honored, visiting the Prison Law Office in Berkeley and Stanford Law School. While at Stanford, Rudy discusses his gang validation in prison that led him to spending 15 years of his last 21 years in prison in the Solitary Housing Unit (SHU).
