In this episode of Turn The Beat Around, we celebrate forty years since the release of one the biggest compilation albums of the 1980s: 1986… Just For Kicks. Originally issued on 11 August 1986, the LP stormed the ARIA Albums Charts and spent a full month at No. 1, becoming the soundtrack of Spring ’86 across Australia.

To mark the anniversary, this episode presents a complete track‑by‑track replay — but with a twist. Instead of the original running order, we rebuild the album from the ground up, correcting the sequencing quirks that have bothered fans for decades. And for the first time in forty years, we include the six additional tracks from the Megamix edition that never appeared on the standard release.
