When we think of ‘witch trials’ we often think of Salem and the East Coast of the USA, a dark and morbid chapter of paranormal history. But in Europe the exact same thing was taking place, only it wasn’t just witches… Werewolf trials happened all across Europe, but as the years went by and they slowly stopped, there was one corner of Austria in which they kept going for hundreds of years. In Moosham Castle hundreds of people met their end, executed for the crimes of witchcraft and lycanthropy. That may be why people claim the castle is haunted to this very day.
