She received her MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and her MPA from Harvard Kennedy School, earning accolades including an audience with President Obama at the White House and a check hand-delivered by Beyoncé. Her latest book, Like A Wave We Break: A Memoir of Falling Apart and Finding Myself (Penguin Random House), is a raw and powerful exploration of how her professional success masked unhealed childhood trauma from growing up as a Taiwanese American survivor of abuse.
