A new campaign offering free round-trip flights between Wellington and Westport is the latest bid to save a regional airline route operated by Nelson-based Originair, but those taking up the offer must book a rental car in Westport first.

The campaign hopes to draw interest while the Government decides whether to support the route in the long-run.
