Leader of the House Louise Upston is saying 'no deal' to Labour's offer to support National's Bill to ban social media for under-16s - to let it pass its first reading this term.
ACT and NZ First have refused to support it, meaning it needs votes from the left bloc to pass.
Labour's in favour, but asked National to schedule a first reading pre-election before Parliament dissolves.
Newstalk ZB senior political correspondent Barry Soper says Labour's trying to play politics, given their changing stance on the bill.
