Mantic Games has been very busy in the last month since GenCon. The announcement of the Wave Three Prison Expansion, and Wave Three Retail Exclusives including Glenn and Maggie is a good sign that the game is moving forward and following the comic books with the releases matching the comic volumes. Talking All Out War will be doing openings for all Wave Three items as soon as we get out hands on them so stay tuned to the YouTube channel for more information!
Did you miss the Kickstarter for All Out War? No fear, as Mantic Games has you covered with the release of The Walking Dead: Collector's Edition! This amazing box of goodness has the base game, The Prelude to Woodbury Single Player Expansion, The Lee and Clementine Con Exclusive miniatures, The Scenery and Equipment Boosters, and to top it all off it has the 2017-2018 Convention exclusive Peg Legged Dale, and a Collector's edition only Walker Rick Grimes! Even if you already have all those toys, it is worth the cost for the exclusive Dale and Rick miniatures so make sure you get your pre order in soon!
If you choose not to buy The Walking Dead Collector's Edition, the Convention Exclusives will be available for purchase on the website during Mantic Day. Unfortunately, if the rush is anything like last year, look forward to slow connections and web browsers timing out as everyone logs on to Mantic Games online store at the same time to get these amazing miniatures. Lee and Clementine from 2017 have both turned out to be powerhouses on the table. The fire axe with Lee's blue melee die has knocked down many a walker and twice as many rival survivors since I picked him up last May. So you may ask, what does Dale have to offer me? How about a Leader Ability that allows him to steal the initiative from your opponent! Want some more? Add in that all Survivors on your team with the Prison Advisor keyword may also use their leadership ability! Are you foaming at the mouth yet? I see Dale, Glenn and Rick wrecking some faces as they tear across the Zombie Apocalypse killing walkers and enemies. Wait! There is more to this Con Exclusive box. The Mercenary Scott Moon is also included. Scott was the hapless puppet of the Governor, he helped Brian set up his fish tank display and **Spoiler** became the first head in a jar. What makes Scott special in game? How about the ability to be immune to panic and take up to three actions! Not enough? He can perform the same action twice! Make sure you don't shoot too often though, that MEYHAM may bring in more than you bargain for! All in all, this seasons Con Exclusives are going to be pretty amazing and can't wait to get ahold of them, either in the Collector's Edition or on Mantic Day.
