Mortal Kombat 2- Who's fighting who and why?

So, we couldn't do Obsession because bad stuff happened to a cat in that movie.  Instead, we started watching an on fire trash can called Mortal Kombat 2.  It's a somewhat interesting on fire trash can though.  Also on this episode, Suesie is annoyed by how many characters are getting introduced in the last ten minutes.  Frank can't say the word katana anymore.  Thanks suicide squad.
