L'Observateur suggesting that the Global population was split into "Three worlds, one planet". The third world was made up of poor countries in Africa, Asia and South America. The principle challenge for the third world was crippling poverty. The second world was made up of communist bloc countries like the USSR and China. Authoritarian political systems that caused wide spread human rights abuses and the deaths of millions of dissident citizens were a second world problem. Finally there was the first world. The world that the folks in the 2011 movie Carnage inhabit. Their principle challenge is what to do with themselves when they don't have any significant challenges. Carnage staring Jodie Foster, Christopher Waltz, Kate Winslet, and John C Reilly is a movie that incapacitates first world problems, outrage culture, and disingenuous people who have faced few real challenges in their lives.
