In 2013, Caleb Flynn was on American Idol as a music pastor from Ohio, encouraged by his wife, Ashley. Thirteen years later, in February of this year(2026), Ashley was shot inside their home. Caleb told police an intruder had broken in. But something isn't right. Just hours before Ashley was killed, Caleb sent one last message to his mistress, Alleigha Botner: “I choose you. I’m free. Actions will come tomorrow.” In September of this year, 2026, Caleb went on trial. After hearing from around 40 witnesses and reading through boxes filled with messages he had tried to keep hidden, the jury found him guilty on all counts after two hours of deliberation.
