Weekend Scripture: Genesis 12

Sometimes we try to fix the things only God can fix and forget to do the only thing we can do, which is to obey Him.

Scott jumps into Genesis 12 as we launch a new series on Faith. Sometimes we ask God to bless our desires, but God will not bless our sin. Sometimes the most loving thing God does is allow us to learn that the thing we want more than Him won't satisfy us. There is a constant competition for our hearts, but faith is demonstrable trust that God is who He says He is and will do everything He's promised to do.
