This is Eden in full bloom. From the garden in Genesis 2 to Ezekiel’s vision of a river that makes the Dead Sea fresh, Scripture has been building toward this moment—and at the Feast of Tabernacles, Jesus stood up and cried out that rivers of living water would flow from the heart of everyone who believes in Him. Through the Holy Spirit, that river is already welling up in us.
So we don’t have to fight our way to the top of the hill. His name is written on us, and we will reign with Him forever. We’re not working for an identity—we’re working from one. Filled with His Spirit, we’re sent to engage our city—our homes, our communities, our workplaces—and pour out the life of Jesus.
