Every day, Hachiko would wait at the Shibuya train station for his owner, Professor Ueno, to return from work. One day, the professor didn't come home because he passed away at work. But Hachiko kept waiting at the station every day for nearly 10 years, hoping to see his owner again. People in the city were so touched by Hachiko's loyalty that they took care of him and shared his story.
