Deep underground in Switzerland, scientists use the CERN Large Hadron Collider to explore the mysteries of the universe. This giant machine helps them understand tiny particles, smaller than a speck of dust. It works by smashing these particles together at incredible speeds. By doing this, scientists learn what makes up everything in the world around us. The collider has already helped discover important things like the Higgs boson, sometimes called the "God Particle." With each experiment, we get closer to understanding how the universe began and how it works.
