Captain Renee Curry and Sergeant Amanda Rollins arrest the ex-boyfriend who's been stalking her, but the complexities of the case make it hard for ADA Sonny Carisi to win at trial. Meanwhile, Captain Olivia Benson finds herself at loggerheads with new Chief Kathryn Tynan, who has a different view on what SVU should be doing and Benson's place in the NYPD.
