ARISE FLUIDS compares two septic shock resuscitation strategies - restricted fluids and early vasopressors or a larger initial intravenous fluid volume and later vasopressors. Tine Sylvest Meyhoff (Copenhagen) delivers an independent editorial. David Harrison (London), Marlies Ostermann (London) and Israel Maia (Sao Paulo) contribute to a panel discussion.
