Today, on Rockstar Superhero, we are blessed to have a conversation with the legendary front man, Mike Reno from the Canadian rock powerhouse, Loverboy.
As we all know, Loverboy is pure rock and roll from a time when there wasn't so much of that on the airwaves, at least in the United States. In 1980, the music business was coming down from the disco era, and new era of musical styles were emerging. Clashing with bands that were driving the new wave bandwagon, Loverboy powered its way onto the scene, bringing newfound charisma, stage presence, impeccable song writing, and driving beats that kids everywhere did their very best air guitar impressions to.
