Oklahoma City Thunder eye a championship-or-bust season as expectations soar. Can Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams, and Chet Holmgren deliver banner number two for OKC, or will Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs remain their ultimate roadblock? Rylan Stiles breaks down the Thunder’s best, worst, and most likely outcomes for the 2026-27 NBA season, spotlighting pivotal changes like the departures of Lu Dort, Aaron Wiggins, and Isaiah Joe, and the emergence of Cason Wallace and Alex Caruso. Key topics include OKC’s offensive firepower, the challenges of defending elite wings without Dort, and whether the team’s depth can withstand the relentless Spurs. With both teams separated from the Western Conference pack, will OKC finally topple San Antonio, or are tough decisions looming for the Thunder's core if another playoff heartbreak strikes? Can the Thunder capitalize on their prime window, or will the Spurs force OKC to run it back once more?
