I've talked a lot about stripping and falling in and out of love with sex work, but I haven't talked a lot about my time falling in and out of love with professional intellectualism--so today, I want to talk about that.

Today's episode is about the first time when I quit my life as a full-time stripper to commit myself to a "respectable" life, dove into scholarship, and brought my punk-rock, stargazer boyfriend along for a ride—a ride that may not have been the one he signed up for.
