Ep 214 — Dante's Inferno | Danse Macabre; HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

It's Halloween! Our favorite holiday, as well as one of our favorite special episodes of the year. First we discuss The Inferno by Dante Alighieri. The Inferno, or Hell, is the first cantiche of The Comedy, erroneously called The Divine Comedy. Then we discuss several iterations of La Danse Macabre, a Late Medieval allegory that reminds people of the inevitability of death and the vanity of earthly power.  Have some spooky fun and Happy Samhain from both of us!
