On Thursday’s Mark Levin Show, critics now blaming the Iran war for Republican midterm losses are the same people who previously undermined the Republicans by attacking President Trump, discouraging voters, endorsing Democrats, and calling for Republican defeats. Tucker Carlson, Nick Fuentes and their ilk helped depress turnout by portraying the President's actions against Iran as a betrayal of campaign promises. If a president is informed that Iran could soon possess nuclear warheads and significant enriched uranium, the president has a duty to act rather than ignore the threat. Those advocating inaction would have been responsible for a historic failure if Iran had obtained nuclear weapons. Their interpretation of America First is dangerous isolationism. This midterm election defeat is more damaging than past losses because it lays the groundwork that if Democrats win in 2028 it would allow the Marxist Islamists to control the country. The election results reflect deep problems in the education system, academia, media, and culture, which have been overtaken by the left Also, Reps Robert Garcia and Jamie Raskin are getting ready to lead politically motivated investigations targeting Trump, his administration, supporters, donors, corporations, and law firms rather than addressing issues such as gasoline prices, food costs, or mortgage bills. These are intimidation tactics designed to discourage political support, campaign donations, and legal representation for Republicans. Later, Alan Dershowitz joins the show and explains that Democrats are openly embracing a strategy of using congressional power to target political opponents, describing it as a form of political warfare that has been perfected and normalized within the Democratic Party. Congressional investigations aimed at Republicans, Trump allies, donors, businesses, and critics are unconstitutional attempts to intimidate and burden opponents with legal costs rather than address genuine crimes. Dershowitz says that the Democrat party is the most dangerous in American history and warns that it intends to use its political mandate aggressively against opponents. Finally, Salena Zito calls in and argues that support for Abdul El-Sayed was a significant political liability and could be a deal breaker for many voters, including some Democrats who felt strongly enough to leave their ballots blank. Voters want leaders with the strength to stand up to people they find reprehensible and predicted that Governor Josh Shapiro would eventually have to answer direct questions about his support of El-Sayed.  At the same time, Zito emphasized an important trend: while traveling across Pennsylvania, she observed strong support for the Jewish people and Israel among evangelical Christians and within the Catholic community. This support remains a significant and often overlooked part of the country's social fabric. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
