In the first week of Household of God, we turn to Colossians 1:15–20 to see Jesus as the image of God, Creator and Sustainer of all things, and the head of the church—and to remember that everything finds its proper place when Jesus is at the center. Following Jesus means trusting His leadership, submitting ourselves to His Word, and becoming a people who pursue truth and unity together.
