The Odin Oracle with Paul Mercurio & Jesseca Trainham
What happens when Odin brings together a longtime tarot reader and an amazing artist? The result is The Odin Oracle, a unique divination deck inspired by Odin’s many names and aspects.
In this episode, I talk with deck creator Paul Mercurio and illustrator Jesseca Trainham about the inspiration behind the project, the creative process, and the journey of bringing the deck to print. They talk about the research, personal experience, the symbolism behind the cards, and some of the unexpected discoveries along the way.
It's an interesting and enlightening conversation about discovering new ways we connect with Odin and Odin reveals Himself to us.
Tech note: due to weather, Jesseca's connection dropped a few times during the recording. We kept going and picking up when the connection was restored. Thanks for hanging in there, Jesseca!
