Can a nation change, either for better or for worse? Many people have a widespread concern about the state of their nation. However, nations can change, particularly when people turn back to God. The Bible provides numerous examples of nations experiencing dramatic transformation through repentance and spiritual renewal.

A national transformation which can happen suddenly. King Hezekiah, one of Judah's greatest reforming kings, was a man whose leadership brought spiritual, cultural, and national renewal during a time of great decline.

3. He Kept Focused on God Rather Than His Powerful Enemies


Just as Hezekiah led Judah out of spiritual decline, believers today can play a significant role in bringing transformation to their communities and nations.

The pathway to change begins with personal repentance and the removal of idols. It continues through the strengthening and purification of the Church, and it is sustained by unwavering faith in God despite opposition and difficulty.
