WWE is doing everything they can to make SummerSlam better than WrestleMania as SummerSlam is STILL struggling to sell tickets, and WWE is freaking out internally.
With CM Punk and Cody Rhodes slotted for the Main Event, and Oba Femi stepping into Hell In A Cell with Brock Lesnar, SummerSlam is WELL below company expectations but why? Is it a destination issue? Is it a match card issue? Are high ticket prices to blame? Are fans finally speaking with their wallets, and are tired of bad television? Or is all of this completely overblown? AEW crowned Kenny Omega the NEW AEW World Champion, and it caused quite a bit of division online, with some loving the decision to move onto Will Ospreay vs Kenny Omega, while other believe MJF should have walked into AEW ALL IN as the World Champion. Why did Tony Khan do MJF vs Kenny Omega on AEW Dynamite, and NOT at AEW Redemption?
