The national college football media is getting nervous about the Big 12.

On this week's Heartland College Sports Winners & Losers, Pete Mundo responds to Brandon Walker's criticism of the Big 12 and explains why the conference's success — including BYU's massive win over Notre Dame — is making some national voices uncomfortable.

Plus, the Big 12 gets another College GameDay spotlight, Michael Hawkins Jr. continues to impress, and Dave Aranda finds himself back on the hot seat at Baylor.

We also discuss the latest injury concerns surrounding Kansas State quarterback Avery Johnson and a UCF team dealing with significant injuries heading into Week 8.
