College grads expect to make $80K after graduation.
But what happens when the real world says otherwise? 👀
When I moved to Atlanta in 1997, my first real job paid me $22,500 a year—and I thought I was doing something! 😂
Times have definitely changed. The cost of living has changed. Expectations have changed.
But some things haven't.
You still have to build experience. You still have to learn how to manage money. You still have to work your way up. And sometimes you have to take the entry-level job before you get the dream job.
There's NOTHING wrong with wanting $80K.
Just understand that a degree doesn't automatically guarantee it.
