Twenty-five years after September 11, 2001, we are forced to ask a painful question: Did Islam actually defeat us from within? On this special 25th anniversary episode, I look back at the attacks, the extraordinary heroism and unity they produced, and the terrible decisions made by America's leaders in the aftermath, which squandered the sense of common cause. Rather than shutting off Islamic immigration and shutting down the Muslim Brotherhood that harbored people like the hijackers, we tripled our immigration, and now there is a mosque on every corner. I’m joined by Krista Schild, Texas director of the RAIR Foundation and a former flight attendant, who brings a remarkable firsthand perspective from the aviation industry at the time. Krista reveals that before 9/11, she personally encountered one of the future hijackers whose behavior raised serious concerns — and she recounts hearing from other flight attendants about suspicious encounters involving passengers who would later become associated with the 9/11 attacks. She explains how flight crews were trained to recognize threats, but how political correctness and restrictions on discussing Islam affected the ability to confront those threats.
