Triple Feature: Solo Mio/The Invite/For Worse

Tonight on Triple Feature we will be looking at Solo Mio, The Invite and For Worse. Kevin James co-wrote and stars in Solo Mio, directed by brothers Charles and Daniel Kinnane, about a jilted groom who decides to take his Italian honeymoon alone. Olivia Wilde directs and stars alongside Seth Rogen, Edward Norton and Penélope Cruz in The Invite, an adaptation of Cesc Gay's Spanish film The People Upstairs, in which a troubled marriage is tested by an unusual dinner invitation. Finally, Amy Landecker writes, directs and stars in For Worse, a semi-autobiographical comedy inspired by her experiences navigating divorce, dating and a younger generation's wedding culture. Shot in just eleven days, the film examines the indignities and possibilities of starting over in middle age. Three romantic comedies, three very different approaches to commitment, and one peculiar recurring detail: therapists becoming romantically involved with their patients. What could possibly go wrong?
