Wonder Woman vs. The Cult of Ladies

Convergence: Wonder Woman #1 (2015)

Spooky season has arrived so let’s see what’s what with this duo of books from DC’s Convergence event where versions of Gotham from different universes have to fight one another at the behest of some entity (and also Brainiac). This one is perfect for the season as Earth-One Wonder Woman squares off against an all-female doomsday cult and the Elseworlds Red Rain vampires!

Highlights include:

• Wonder Woman cuts a promo on some street youths
• Etta Candy joins a cult
• Steve Trevor chats with Bill Cowher
• The difference between “battle axe” and “old bag”
• Catwoman is a werewolf
• Sacred chunnels

Also, Shawn completes the REIGN OF THE SUPERMEN arc of books and shares a gross nursery rhyme from his youth.
