For anyone with even a slight interest in the Hip Hop music of the 1990s, this episode is for you.
Guest Greg Kading, an LAPD detective who headed the Biggie Smalls murder investigation, wrote Murder Rap, a book revealing his findings that generated some controversy upon its release.
Kading also produced a documentary based on the book called "Murder Rap: The Untold Story of the Biggie Smalls & Tupac Shakur Murder Investigations." A film that makes a case that both Tupac Shakur (2pac) and Christopher Wallace (The Notorious B.I.G. or Biggie Smalls) were killed because of an ongoing East Coast & West Coast street gangs/record label rivalry between Death Row and Bad Boy Records.
Tune in to hear the untold story of the case of the rivalry that lead to the murders of 2pac and Biggie, and what lead the investigations that lasted over a decade to try and reveal the killers following their deaths.
