'The premise of this DJ set was simple: to play exclusively from my personal collection of vinyl records and digitized CDs. So I packed a suitcase with them and flew to Springkell.

Since we were in Scotland, the set begins with inspiration drawn from the landscape and the legend of the Loch Ness Monster, as you can hear in the spoken-word snippet from Alex Harvey’s 1977 LP. From there, it gradually evolves into a less conceptual and more sensory journey, blending and layering sounds to create a continuous thread throughout.

The selection explores electroacoustic music, minimalism, musique concrète, and drone, with very little recent material. Many works lie hidden beneath the surface, but by digging layer by layer, you uncover true gems you didn’t even know existed. Long live the marvelous art of digging.'
