One indication of the new heart is an honest desire for candid feedback. The desire to serve better welcomes accurate feedback even when it is unflattering. Self-serving leaders, however, prefer flattery to truth — fearing that they risk losing their image, their position, and their power. That is their worst nightmare. How are you doing with feedback?
