The French Revolution meets the Great Reset. The world is burning, the oil is running out, and the peasants are still expected to applaud.
Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité!
The rallying cry of the French Revolution. The promise that ordinary people could finally free themselves from the tyranny of kings, aristocrats and hereditary rulers.
More than two centuries later, Paris is once again a stage for revolutionary theatre, Europe is simmering with unrest, and the modern-day aristocracy has traded its powdered wigs for private jets and invitations to Davos.
The peasants, meanwhile, are still paying for the party… and that’s the problem. Until people wake up that they are slaves and/or stop loving being a slave, they're just going to keep getting destroyed.
Which is what today’s video is all about.
All eyes are on France and its latest revolution, which didn’t only feature in the Illuminati card game, but has also become a magnificent showcase of ideological warfare, social fragmentation and revolutionary nostalgia. And, during the 2024 Paris Olympics, the organizers practically gift-wrapped the symbolism with a singing, decapitated Marie Antoinette. Blood-red theatrical imagery. A mysterious hooded torchbearer. Revolutionary anthems. Enough flames and historical references to make an Illuminati enthusiast spontaneously combust.
The official explanation was French culture. (Of course it was)
Don’t you just love how a country whose national motto celebrates liberty is increasingly associated with arguments over surveillance, censorship, immigration, state power and who gets to decide what freedom actually means?
Perhaps the greatest trick of the French Revolution wasn't overthrowing the aristocracy. Perhaps it was convincing the peasants that the new aristocracy would be different.
Which brings me to Kanada.
While Europe is busy demonstrating the many wonders of centralized political management, Mark Carney has been pursuing closer ties with the European Union… Right after including Kanada in the Eurovision Song Contest… along with Israel and Australia. Because geography shouldn’t stand in the way of Big Club friends and family.
Meanwhile, over in Alberta, people have been asking a rather awkward question: What if we simply don't want to belong to this arrangement anymore?
NEWSFLASH CITIZENS!
If you get a chance to vote on separation, what exactly are you voting for?
A new country? A new flag? A new tax department? A shiny new collection of bureaucrats explaining why surrendering half your paycheck is an essential part of being free?
Congratulations!
You've successfully escaped the Canadian plantation and established the Independent People's Democratic Plantation of Alberta.
Different management. Same field.
Meanwhile, while people are arguing and ‘voting’ for which plantation they want to live on, food is getting more expensive, so is fuel, and people are paying more just for the privilege of existing.
So here's to the French Revolution, the Illuminati card game, the Kanadian plantation and the grand global production currently playing on every screen.
The world is burning, energy is becoming a weapon, and the political establishment is still trying to sell us a brighter, greener, more equitable future.
Liberty, Equality, Fraternity.
Or, as the modern version might read:
Obey. Pay. And be happy.
