Deuteronomy

A study of Deuteronomy that focuses on its literary and canonical argument, drawing on the history of interpretation and considering its implications for Christian faith (doctrine) and practice (ministry). In so doing, we consider a number of major issues in theology and ministry: the people of God and the place (kingdom) of God, the importance of remembrance in the life of faith, the relation of the Old and New Covenants, the objective and subjective aspects of the Christian life, worship, social ethics, Christian formation, and the relationship of faith and obedience.
