Facelifts are increasingly popular.  But they are not without risk.  Minor or even major bleeding can occur after this procedure.  Plastic surgeons have used drains, tight dressings and tranexamic acid have been used to control bleeding but the most important factor (other than good surgical technique) is excellent blood pressure control - during and after the procedure.  On this show, we discuss the methods plastic surgeons use to control bleeding with facelift surgery.  We also discussed the multitude of procedures that have been developed to make aging ears look better.
