Andrew Collins is a history and science writer of over 40 years standing - has been at the forefront of research into Gobekli Tepe and Karahan Tepe since they were first made public in the early 2000s. Andrew has written extensively on these sites in southeastern Turkey, which today form part of what is known as Tas Tepeler - the name given to the world's first post ice age civilization. His books on this topic include From the Ashes of Angels (1996), Gods of Eden (1998), Gobekli Tepe: Genesis of the Gods (2014), The Cygnus Key (2018), and his new book Karahan Tepe: Civilization of the Anunnaki and the Cosmic Origins of the Serpent of Eden (Inner Traditions, 2024). Among Andrew's greatest achievements in the field of ancient civilizations is the discovery of a huge cave complex beneath the shadow of the Great Pyramid of Egypt now known as Collins' Cave.
