Yessica Barreda is an Advanced Placement Psychology teacher in Miami, FL. She is certified in Social Sciences grades 6-12, Exceptional Student Education, and English as a Second Language. Yessica is an active volunteer with Boy Scouts of America and a sponsor of Psi Alpha – a psychology honor society. She is passionate about making learning equitable, engaging, and memorable. In her 10 Years as a teacher, Yessica has led Parent Academy workshops to give parents the tools necessary to support their child’s learning. Peter Santoro has been teaching high school mathematics for 12 years. In addition to two sections of Introductory Calculus, Peter also teaches one section of Geometry and two sections of Mathematics Research Honors. In addition, he is the coach of the Garden City High School Math Team (Mathletes). Joy McCourt teaches high school chemistry, physics, and mathematics in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, where she lives with her husband and two sons. Her interests include helping to moderate #flipclasschat every Monday on Twitter and training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
