The focus of this course is the study of the microorganisms, which include primarily bacteria and viruses. Principles and concepts in the prokaryotic cell, eukaryotic cell, and virus make-up and function will be examined. Microbial metabolism and genetics will be introduced, along with immunology. A survey of the forty top diseases caused by microbes will be examined, as well. Students will have a greater understanding of God and will be able to integrate Scripture with any subject in microbiology when finished with this class
