Few books in the Bible are more disorienting and demanding than the book of Job. This lecture will consider what this collection of ancient Hebrew lament poetry has to offer those of us wanting to wrestle through the ways of God in a world characterized by so much needless suffering. For those unfamiliar with the book of Job, consider watching the Bible Project's summary video as well as reading chapters 1-3 and 38-42 to gain some familiarity with this book before listening.
