Hi, gang!

I realize this Halloween one-shot is a couple days late, but only one of those days is my fault. The rest has to do with technical issues that needed to be resolved before the podcast could be uploaded. But rest assured, everything’s up and on course again, as is no doubt ob virus by the fact that you’re now reading this.

A quick word: one of those technical issues which wasn’t[t resolved to my liking but which is unfortunately stuck in its current form is the trailer at the beginning of this issue. I’m not sure why, but upon saving the finished podcast, the trailer—and so far as I can tell, only the trailer!—turned into a loud, obnoxiously distorted mess. I tried to fix it, but in doing so, I accidentally saved the trailer file in its distorted form, so what’cha get is what we got. As proud of the trailer as I am, feel free to skip it. Your ears will thank you. Thankfully, the game itself appears to be at a decent volume level. Sorry about this, folks.

As I said, this issue is our Halloween one-shot. We’re playing The Monsters Are Our Heroes, a nifty little game brought to you by Bloat Games. I don’t know if “pulpy” is the tone Eric Bloat had in mind when he concocted this game about heroic characters based on the Universal classic monsters, but what can I say? If there’s one thing I’m reasonably sure of when it comes to identifying my GMing style, it’s that almost everything I touch turns to pulp. And I, for one, am totally okay with that!

So go forth, click that above link…

…and enjoy!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!!!
