Today we are privileged to have on the show, Dr Eben Alexander from the United States. His book, “Proof of Heaven – A Neurosurgeon’s Journey into the Afterlife” has been causing waves on both sides of the Atlantic since it was published in October. Back in November 2008 Dr Alexander was living his life, working as a neurosurgeon at a hospital in Virginia. Then he mysteriously contracted bacterial meningitis, which virtually killed him. Yet after being in a coma for seven days, he recovered completely and was able to recount his near death experience. Dr Alexander has written down all that he experienced in his book, which we will be discussing tonight, as well as Dr Alexander’s views on death and indeed life beyond death.
