 The Vril Society believed that vril was a force which if controlled could be used as a means of acquiring spiritual enlightenment, to heal people or to dominate the wills of others. They also believed that vril could be used to influence events on the material plane by concentrating the willpower while it was focused into a kind of laser beam through a combination of visualization and directed emotion.
