On the night of July 29, 1995, thirteen-year-old Thad Phillips is asleep on the couch when he wakes up to the familiar feeling of his father picking him up to carry him to bed. But he soon realizes that the person carrying him isn't his father, and that he's being carried out of the house in the middle of the night. This marked the beginning of nearly 48 hours of horrific torture at the hands of the person who would later become known as The Bonebreaker Killer.
