Our secrets, and the men who count them like currency. Our religions, our dogmas, and the encounters that may sleep beneath them. The door we’re now knocking on with our own machine minds, and the quieter door, the one in consciousness itself, that something seems to have been answering all along.
And then, when the worst of us has been laid on the desk, I’ll do what any good host would do for their kind.
