Arneis white wine grape is closely associated with Piedmont, Italy where its near-extinction was salvaged by some talented modern day winemakers such as Bruno Giacosa. Today the grape is harvested in California’s Mendocino County at Birdhorse Vineyards, and featured on wine lists at gastronomic wine bars such as The Redwood in the artisan enclave of Sebastopol. #arneis #mendocinowine #winebar
