Janne Elvelid is Head of Policy for Meta in Sweden and Finland. His career has been dedicated to understanding and driving digital development in society. Most recently, he has led Meta's policy efforts in AI and Fintech at the EU level. He has a background in tech policy from the European Commission in Brussels as well as from the Ministry of Enterprise. Before his involvement in policy issues, he was also the CEO of the research institute World Internet Institute and worked for the Internet Foundation. Working to advocate the importance of tech for our society.
