In this episode by La Leche League LLLGB, volunteer breastfeeding counsellors Sarah Fletcher and Maria Yasnova welcome Emily Lunny, who is a fellow LLL leader. She is a mother to three children, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and the Maternity& Neonatal Voices Partnership Lead at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in West Norfolk.

As an Autistic parent, and mother of an Autistic child, she is particularly interested in this area. She is also part of the Maternity Autism Research Group.
The discussion is centred around the following main topics:
- supporting neurodivergent mothers and parents with breastfeeding
and
- nursing a neurodivergent child
A holistic model of support offered by LLL is also discussed and the listeners are encouraged to reach out to LLLGB if breastfeeding support and information is needed.
LLLGB is a charity that offers mother to mother and parentto parent support for breastfeeding and chestfeeding.
The charity was founded by seven mothers in 1956 and since then has accumulated a wealth of knowledge that is now supported by the latest scientific evidence and research.
